In both cases you will get automatic email notifications when we are working on your ticket and when we have completed them.
If you need to escalate you may still email us at firstname.lastname@example.org but keep in mind this is a high traffic inbox that may take longer to respond to.
Hey Realmers
We have been blown away by the energy and enthusiasm from the community about The Realm. This has been a two-sided coin for us at Rat Labs because we have been completely inundated with support requests to recover accounts and provide other general support.
First, if you had previously sent an email to recover an account and we have not responded - sorry! We weren't expecting so much traffic. I promise you we will get to all emails and appreciate your patience.
The high volume of requests has been a problem for us as we monitor the email which doesn't have a great ticket tracking system. For example, it's not obvious which emails have been handled or not, it's not clear if another staff member is handling requests or if one request somehow slipped through the cracks.
To combat this, we now have a ticket tracking system for support which should allow us to understand what requests are outstanding and who is dealing with them.
Thanks for your understanding!
Our friends over at The Retro Zoo Super Show have another podcast out! Be sure and give them a listen! http://technofunkboy.libsyn.com/ep-32-hurt-and-hurtmore-dragon-warrior-dragon-quest
Unfortunately, since the recent announcement of Rat Labs joining together with Norseman Games to develop The Realm Online, there have been many threats made to the staff members on both Rat Labs and the Norseman Games teams. In addition, we received an anonymous message today stating some old information was going to be or had been leaked. This does not affect any accounts that you created on https://mistwalkers.co or https://realmserver.com since Rat Labs launched this new website.
There is no evidence of this being factual, nor do we believe it to be. NG is investigating this extensively to see if anything of the sort happened. As a precaution and because we prefer to be proactive rather than reactive, we ask that if you are using the same password you had prior to the transition to Rat Labs that you take the time and change your account password as well as your home password to prevent any of these people with a vendetta from having any power over the future of this game. All unlinked account passwords have also been changed to protect them as well, and we’ll work with anyone looking to reactivate their old accounts to get them their credentials in a timely manner!
We here at Rat Labs are protective of our community - we have, and will continue to always be truthful with our players.
