For the last day or so, I quite often find that I can not go south. I can go east. I can go west. I can go north. But I can not go south. Pointer changes to an arrow for all directions but south. Changes to a circle with a line through it if the direction is unavailable, but will not allow me to go south. Not even from my house(s). The only thing I've found that fixes it is logging out and closing the game then relogging in.
Is it just me? Any ideas what I can do/try?
Which version of Windows are you running? Have not heard of this one yet.
Im having the same problem cant go south
Made a wizard but forgot to set the alignment to good and want the spells. played fine for a bit.
Made another wizard and set alignment to good, but he cant go south at all.
Help channel suggested full screen and back but that didn't do anything.
With only 4 sloth and 24 hours before you can delete the bugged toons I don't want to keep making new ones if I get this bug.
Perhaps you can drop the timer to 6 hours if this bug can't get fixed soon?
Restarted in compatibility mode, Windows XP (service pack 2) and it works now.
Spent an hour playing, teleported around a few times and it was working fine. Then teleported to West Leinster and I can't go down/south again.
Switched characters, other toon can go south, went back and first toon cant.
And now both characters have the bug.
And now it's just my main. he is in his home and I cant use the door to get to my yard but can't go south to town.
And now its working
Logged out to have lunch, and now i'm back in and none of my three characters can move south.
Restarted my computer, took the dog for a walk, and all three of my characters are stuck in home still.
What the heck is going on, how can it be a problem on my end if I can do everything else but can not move south?
And that's the end, I now have 4 characters that are all stuck somewhere and can't go south. The latest played fine for about 45 minutes then got hit by the same bug. Restarting my computer, compatibility mode, run as administrator, nothing helps.
What can this be?

Recovered an old account, made a new character and played with my wife for 3 hours. Everything was fine, she logged off and I did a little shopping, caught the bug in under 5 minutes after she left. Can't go south.
She came back in and I crashed twice trying to invite her. When she invited me it went fine.
some advice from the Game Help channel, i set all my characters off of full screen then re-launched. I can go south. But I have to run in tiny screen mode.
Thanks Izzean I tried that and it worked just hate playing in a small screen.
In some versions of Windows you might want to disable visual themes, as this can change the way the mouse acts with certain software.
as long as you start and log off in small screen windows mode ypu can switch to full screen and play. just remember to switch back to small screen befor logging oiff
I had this same issue….don't log off in full screen and it works fine
