I was playing earlier after the update and the servers went down to fix the /tells problem. Now I cannot log back in becuase it starts update and crashes every time. I have tried multiple compatibility modes and none as well as administrator and not. I don't know what to do.

This looks a lot like what happens when you run the game by launching sciw.exe rather than wlaunch.exe
Did you happen to create your own shortcut for the game?
Wlaunch.exe is the game's updater and it's required that you run the game that way so that patches can be applied
