I execute the Installer and it says - The Folder path "The Realm" contains an invalid character.: FIXED

I tried running it as administrator and nothing.

I am running a windows 10 PC

I'm using Win 10 to, I had no issues.

Yeah no issues for me either on Windows 10. Mind you I just made the install folder C:\The Realm Online

Sounds like you're you may need to change your install location.

UPDATE

So it was due to me having the OLD school Realm still installed on the comp.

The uninstaller was broken, so alas i had to reformat.

It was due for a good cleaning anyway.

Once i blew away my operating system and all programs registered in the registry, it installed like a champ.

Bit of an overkill solution but i was having Realm withdrawals…

Let me know if someone has a similar issue, i can hopefully walk you though a different path.
