when I exit out of the launcher then decide to load another account the launcher crashes and closes with out error message if there's an active game loaded. so I have to close out all games and reload launcher again.

This can happen if we update some of the clients (i.e. the test client) while your still in game. We are aware and aim to fix it shortly.
