This bug is quite aggravating and annoying. I have now crashed twice while selling. This would not have been too much of an issue, if I did not also loosing all the items and the backpack they were in as well. I receive no money for the sale. It just disappears.
I just recently lost a backpack with 4 enchantments. This is a major annoyance, especially since all items are put into the backpack you wear when you loot. In order to be sure to keep your enchanted backpack you have to unload everything into your directory and sell from there.
