Was hunting HC today and casted Mass Hold the final battle. Parm was held for at least 9 rounds. Usually my mass hold lasts between 3-4 rounds on him, and I wait a couple more rounds before casting hold on him again. I attempted to cast hold for three rounds and it didnt stick. I then slowed down my machine and realized it wasn't sticking because he was still held from the initial mass hold cast.
So I retested this:
Against Benedict - I cast mass hold on round 1 followed by cold snap and Benedict was still held at round 7 when I killed him
Against Parm - I cast mass hold on round 1 followed by cold snap and Parm was still held at round 8 when I killed him
I did not have to recast hold and I do not have stun on my hitters. I was have shield bash and AI on one hitter and Bleed on the other.
Thanks
So I did another run of HC this AM - Parm and Benedict are really the only guys I hit and I dont usually hit in other battles.
I casted mass hold first round and didnt get Parm
I casted mass hold second round and got Parm
I finished Parm at the end of round 11 and he was still held from the round 2 mass hold
In the final HC battle, I notice the Axe Crusader (who I never hit) breaks from the mass hold; unfortunately, the other ones don't survive long enough for me to test
I also killed stormbringer and emissary of night this morning mass hold and they were able to shrug the mass hold; I use two hitters and two wizzes.
Followup on my previous post:
Shadowlord and I did some testing two days ago.
We discovered that the myst resistance when >99 (100 or above) acted more like 0%.
In HC, Parms myst resist with 6 players is 103 and with 4 players was 100
When casting extended hold Parm was held for 16 rounds in the 6 player dungeon and 13 rounds in 4 player dungeon
The bug seems to be how the computer is calculating myst resist when it is 100 or more; chars with <100 myst resist were only held for 3-4 rounds.
