Shield color wrong.

So I was using a magic shield dyed teal. I then upgrade to a Prismatic Ward and left it gray. I have removed and equipped many times since but when I am in battle it shows as teal on other toons screens. It even showed as teal on the guy wearing its screen but re-equipping it fixed it. It still shows teal on 3rd party screens.

Shields interact with the color of your Backpack.

If you place the Shield Above or Below the backpack in your inventory (don't remember which way works) it will display how you want it to.
