Something strange about my house door

When I leave my house and it ports me to outside, it seems to automatically shut my door, at least from the outside, but if I immediately go back in, while in my house the door shows as still open and i have to shut it.

I believe this is a cosmetic bug - if you have another character in the same room it will not be open
