Stuck on log in screen

After the patch today, I can no longer go through to play the game. It just says verifying user and password , then sticks completely and won't load farther

The game is up and down due to bugs in the latest update patch. Keep track of the state of the game on "Discord" boards. They are announcing the state of the game there.

how do i check the game on boards ? Sorry I am new to this
