Unable to complete pumpkin carving in Murias

When I attempt to carve pumpkins in Murias it says that I cannot get close enough to the npc to give him the large pumpkin.

Yeah this is buggy.

When you enter the room first walk to the table as though you are gonna sit down (don't sit) and from there drag the pumpkin to the npc and hand it in.

It's a bit counter-intuitive to do it from across the room, but this gets the angle right.
