Twice over the span of two days, I have taken my backpack off, sold to vendor and immediately after hitting the "sell" button I get a "Hideous Fatal Error" window that states: "Fatal exception encountered: ILLEGAL MEMORY ACCESS" I have taken a screenshot of the error before I closed it, but I'm not sure how to attach to forums. Besides being slightly annoying to relog in, the main issue is when i log back in, the backpack has dissappeared.
Is it the same shop each time? Can you post which vendor?
It was 2 different shops, and they didn't happen back to back
It seems I've found how to replicate it at any time…. if i click to fast after hitting the sell button, it causes the client to crash every time with the same error. Usually this would be easy to aviod, but my current mouse has a tendency to double click with a single click sometimes, time to get a new mouse i suppose. But it still begs the question as to why the backpack disappears with the crash.
Maybe the crash is kind of giving the bp to the vendor or selling the entire thing to it, I'm not sure. I think it should be looked into. Unless it's just that it's dropping when you crash and someone is taking it, but more likely, it sounds like it's probably ending up with the vendor somehow.
Hey raGe - next time it happens, can you just post here an exact (ish) time? Like - 4:51PM EST or something? Easier to track if we know exactly when!
