I have an ASGW. I was using a HH until recently. With the HH I had 6 attacks/round per my character sheet. When I equip the Wrath, my character sheet only shows 5 attacks/round.
I placed the HH in my strongbox (to avoid weight issues) and verified I was at 19% enc. Why would equipping the Wrath cause my attacks/round to go down as compared to HH?
Character: CaveNerd
Edit: Things get more strange. When I first got the Wrath, it was showing 4 attacks/round (and the HH 5 attacks/round). I went home and tried this again. Now showing HH has 6 attacks/round and the Wrath has 5 (still 1 less).
Edit2: Sold my loot, got to 18% enc, put wrath back on: 4 attacks/round. Checked every few fights. Now at 26% enc, 5 attacks/round.
This feels like some floating point math is going wrong somewhere.
If I recall correctly being GM in a weapon skill gives you 4.5 attacks per round.
This will cause your sheet to sometimes read 4 and sometimes read 5, depending on where you are currently at on the rounding.
HH gives +1 Attack and so this tracks with your experience. 4.5 base +1 for 5.5 per round, showing as 5 or 6 depending on where you are on the rounding.
So, based on what you're describing it seems clear that you are not gaining the +1 Attack from the Wrath.
I'll see if I can get my hands on a Wrath to try and replicate. Actually be pretty funny if the Wrath's +1 Attack hasn't been working for weeks and nobody noticed.
I just wanted to follow up on this and let you know that I wasn't able to reproduce this as I expected.
I tested it by comparing an Admantium 2hander to the wrath. Admantium equipped always showed 1 less attack per round than Wrath.
I don't have a HH and Wrath both bound to the same account so wasn't able to compare those two.
I'm not saying you're incorrect or anything, I honestly was trying to test this to just add more data to help support your cause - but unfortunately I couldn't come up with anything to contribute.
Just wanted to follow up the post as I said I would.
