I propose a progressive DoT (damage over time) spell for a rank of necromancy 7 or above. Poison Barrage is considered a mass DoT, but this would have a different mechanism. A non-poison single target spell that doubles in damage each round. For example, round 1 would result in 500 damage, then round 2 would cause 1,000, then 2,000, 4,000, with a final round 5 8,000 dmg tick. Making it dispellable would be the best approach for PvP, so it can be countered and wouldn’t be OP. Saving this for necro rank 8 or 9 may be more appropriate since PB was released with rank 6. Perhaps a new necro summon for rank 7, a high damage single target life steal for rank 8 and the progressive DoT for 9. A spell like this might increase utility in combat and make some PvP battles more decision-based over RNG-based.
