Combine wizard armor sets?

Why do we need 3 different armor sets for wizzies? Can't we just have 1 set that is +thaum/ele/necro? It's annoying to have to have specific sets for the different potential uses based on what dungeon are headed to. requires 3x the farming to gear up compared to a melee type. Would be comparable to having an armor set for each melee weapon type.

I'd like to have just one set, too. Like a Mageblade is for all three. We could use a single armor set for all three. Could also use something to up Sorcery and or Myst, too.
