Default Game Speed

Is there any way the increase the default game speed from slowest to somewhere in the middle upon login?

I see a ton of noobs who are moving like slugs and I can feel their pain.

Yeah. From what I can remember if someone doesn't have the speed turned up you can see them walking slow across the screen.

i agree, the default speed should be brought up at least one level, maybe two but…on the topic of being able to see other people's speed?

i just tested this with two clients, one at the fastest setting and one at the default. while in the same room, the client with the slowest speed looks fast on the client with the fastest speed. while the client with the fast speed looks slow on the slow client. from what i can see the game speed is just adjusting the playback of the animations, it's not changing the behavior on the server.
