Dungeons are overkill now

I think the summons are way too stong. I am actually having trouble running dungeons now. Anyone else experiencing this? Everyone is just going to be running around with purges for the banish proc. This feels really unfair. There are like 5-6 summons now( That also summon) and they hit like normal npcs its crazy even if you get a banish off they just resummon. The other day a Lich summoned like 5 Champions and murdered my whole team because i couldnt get a banish off in HUSH. This has been happening constantly.

On top of this Shift can be dispelled and these mass poisons are horrendous. It feels like it isn't balanced. I agree there should be a challenge but the way it is now is overkill.

600 items were hard enough to find; havent found anything good in over a week and its gotten impossibly harder now.

I can't agree more…If it was just specific aspects of some of the changes, (Since launch, even) This post might not be here.

Now we have summons, summoning summons…
Now we have dispellable shift
Now we have mobs using Prestige level skills against us.

I think these challenge dial-ups are getting way to extreme, and before I start catching flak from other players, Who state that it's not so bad,
I'd like to point out that not everyone here runs 6 accounts, and the players I see making the comments that 'It's not so bad" are the same
players who are known to run 6 accounts…Not everyone can, Not everyone chooses to do so.

I feel like if I could land a decent stun/zerk, some of this might not be so bad. (Myst changes)
I feel like if I were able to use Fumble in the Fist weapon situation (Dispel Proc), This might not be so bad. (Dispellable shift)
(Necro Cows, as well as some other mobs will also constantly dispel you.)
I feel like if the NPCs were not using Prestige level skills, Some of this might not be so bad.

I'd like to take another second to say that I have spoken to some of the other players who are on a similar level of play, and they agree,
I will not speak for them myself, But will direct them to weigh-in underneath my post here. One stated that they felt like the Devs were
trolling them, and/or slapping them in the face.

Dispellable Shift may/may not have been an intentional change, But it is also one that is affecting a larger pool of players, Then those
who are in Heroics level caves, and the issues exists on a larger scale. If it was un-intentional…why hasnt it been fixed yet?

Don't get me wrong, I am not looking for a 'walk in the park' here, I appreciate the devs trying to keep things interesting, What I dont appreciate
is the fact I feel pressed into making 6 Noble accounts just to make this game playable. At 4.99/acct per month, a full 6 toons is costing you
twice as much as the typical MMO fee you see from most games…

I, myself have stopped hunting for the time being…because it's just too crazy. I will step aside now and see who else I've spoken to in-game decides to weigh in here…I cant deal with Shift/Banishment/Heal/Banishment/Shift/Banishment…etc,etc, Wheres the damage?

As somewho who runs 5 noble accounts. I agree with you.

The summons change hasn't really effected me, other than to slow me down a bit, as I can spare a char to cast banishment any round, without much fuss. But I am concerned, because with all the "you're forcing multiboxers" complains, the Devs with this patch basically said "Eh, screw it, let's make it worse." The changes in this patch basically, slightly slowed/inconvenienced multibox players, and outright slapped soloers in the face. With dispellable shift and these summon changes, anyone who previously able to handle any heroics in 1/2 chars, no longer can, at all.

Also Ruff's point on basically requiring 5-6 characters, and spending 29.99 a month, is valid. WoW sub is 9.99, and it's the most popular MMO on the planet. This game requires (at least indrectly so) at least $25 a month to be able to do anything end game.

Duh, but WoW is setup to support groups. Dungeon finders, loot systems, etc… Aspects of the game functionality support you being able to find, and function within groups to take on content. They do not in The Realm, in any way, shape or form. It's a 20 year old client, so this isn't a surprise, but until they fix that problem (new client), there needs to be some other solution.

Otherwise this game just isn't viable, it's holding on now because of the nostalgia aspect. But I can speak personally, I've paid for 5 accounts twice now, and I'm very unlikely to keep that up, no matter what you do with prestige. It's not the money I care about, it's the fact that to be honest, it's just not much fun to grind dungeons by myself all day; but finding groups is even more tedious. So I don't really have any options. And good lord am I sick of clicking so much…

Next patch summons will be level set with the caster level. This will be for players and NPCs. Which will reduce their HP. As for solo / duo content we are actively working this issue. We would like to have dungeons that will not allow more than one or two players in them. This will allow us to tailor the content for that party size.
