Enchanting Gear

It would be great to see a rare set of Enchanting Gear/Sorcery Gear that boosts the percent of enchanting. It would be so hard to get and worth a lot of ingame gold. And it would be so much better for chanters and townies

This will most likely be the Sorcery prestige for wizards.

Items flashing from Enchanting is part of the game's economy. It's hard on those of us who don't have a ton of gear, but if every item in the game was 5x it would drop the value of those items. As I recall, it's been a focus of the game developers that 189sdm was going to be the cap of effectiveness for enchanting gear. I'd like to see other races be able to reach this level other than just Elves, but I'm one of the fans that 189sdm should be the hard cap of enchanting.

There was a sorc prestige specialisation mentioned that took you over 200sdm (can't remember the exact number) and opened up 6x (I think) - though I assumed 6x was already available with a 2% chance. It's on their to do list as part of forcing wizzies into more specific roles instead of being masters of all. Another case of wait and see!
