I didnt really see a specified area for this sort of thing so here it is. I have a few i'd like to share, browsed a little didnt see none mentioned.

  1. Give invisible guys some sort of faint outline to those able to see invis, they are sometimes difficult to see/find.

  2. Incinerate sucks please get rid of it,having hard earned gear potentially unexpectedly ruined due to incineration is pretty horrible,i do not miss the way rust used to work and id love to see incineration changed some way as well.(unless im an idiot and its not burning my stuff?) sometimes one guys stuff is far more damaged than anothers for no apparent reason other than an incineration in fact did occur is all i have to go by. terrible.

  3. A mass defenslessness spell preferably the buffed version potentially as something prestige related.

  4. A battle clock option for 0 seconds.

yeah I'm not sure about the incinerate thing either, I run 3 hitters, all with MM's and one of them got destroyed, while the other 2 were still at 40% durability.. was pretty weird..

As for Quality of life:

I really hope the new content doesnt make the old content obsolete… not trying to be a troll but the thief mask, the HoS, The HoC, The HoD..NMH and more.. also known as the classics simply do not have a place in today's realm. i have a very simple solution to make each helm viable in its own way.. but thats for another time. Right now they are semi-viable, meaning you can use them but you will be at a pretty obvious disadvantage all other things the same. Now once master gear and the next generation of armors/weapons come out, we will no longer have ANY usage for the previously mentioned helms that add a bit of "flair" and excitement back to grinding. i have been experimenting with higher HP toons and armor procs and let me tell you it has revitalized my enjoyment at the daily grind for gear or levels…give it a try its a blast and actually lets you try out NICHE TOON BUILDS. im afraid we will lose that "spark" with bland +++ ballofstats master gear. the "heart" of the game is in the uniqueness… IMHO
Rat Labs has done an AMAZING job making the old OP meta helms no longer so overpowered and overused(HoS), and i think with a little tweak the spirit of the old helms can live on through the new generations of gear.

TLDR:
New helms coming out seem NICE and strong but boring and just ++ stats rather than unique abilities.
Old helms are awesomely fun but frustratingly useless.

I second the QoL issue of invisible characters being hard to see in combat. This is especially the case for your own group. It's nicer (and more social) to see characters when they aren't invisible so I might even suggest removing the combat benefits of being invisible. This would remove the necessity for everyone to stay invisible all the time. The 50% chance for NPCs to miss me seems overpowered but I do like the logic that encourages NPCs to target non-invislble targets.

Regarding defenselessness, I haven't noticed a significant benefit of casting it on my enemy so I usually don't bother. Maybe armor needs a buff or a bug exists in the melee damage formula?

There needs to be a Banish All or Mass Banish Spell. More often than not, there are 4 or 5 monsters summoned with an enemy summon spell and you either have to take out the caster, fight all of the summoned creatures or try to banish them one by one. It seems OP when a king kilrog or daemon king summons more king kilrogs or daemon kings and its easy to lose track of the caster. If this is too OP, if there was some way to differentiate between summoned creatures and actual enemies, that would be useful.

Another QOL improvement that others have mentioned would be a "Take all" feature for chests / bones.

Also, there should be Hot Zone info in game, showing what Hot Zones are available. This could be a /zone feature or something like that.

Finally, the teleporter NPCs in each town should have a a dialogue that allows them to give directions to nearby Dungeons. This could improve the role playing atmosphere and make finding dungeons more organic (right now, I just go online for directions to new dungeons). Thinking on this further, they could give hints for the dungeons. For instance, when talking about Daemon Home, the NPC could give a hint to open the last door to the chest. "Legend has it that there is a hidden treasure there, and the only way to find it is to say the name of the infamous Daemon King- but that's just a silly children's tale!".

Building upon the last idea, you sometimes find books with stories in them when out hunting. Some of these stories should give hints to dungeon riddles (similar to the above). I think these types of books should also be available at a Library in one or all of the towns. That would be a cool way to make Realm Lore more accessible to those who aren't as familiar with the game and provide a cool mechanic to learning more about the history and stories of The Realm.

There is a Mass Spell for banish! It’s called banishment and it’s a Thaum spell. I suggest you read all the spells on the wiki :)

The wiki also shows the daily hot zones. Ask in game chat if someone can mail you a list of the hotzones.

Thanks, I've just been using banish in Necro. I will definitely start using banishment!

To your other point, I know where the hot zone information is. My larger point is, for immersion and to improve the overall game experience, game related information should be able to be found in-game. Why should you have to go on the wiki to figure out what hot zones are active?

I can’t disagreee with you there. It’s an easy fix, whenever you log in they could list what the daily hot zone is in chat.

As a QOL improvement what would people think about a sell all control so you could in a couple clicks sell all statues or sell all carvings or sell all diamonds or emeralds…..or perhaps have a list of items that you always want sold when you click sell in a shop? It would allow us to do more of what we enjoy and less of the drudgery.

Also how about a greater greater identify that puts greater identify on all items you carry?

And how about a join buff control that will cast invisibility, shift and invulnerability…and that could either work only out of combat or in combat. If it would work in combat it would take some of the pain out of a dispel, which can be very annoying when it is by say a berserk opponent hitting you and in one combat hit doing damage, elimination your shift, your invisibility and your invulnerability, which will take at least three full turns to replace if you stay alive that long.

And while I am making a wish list, how about a teleport anchor spell that you can choose any place outside a dungeon and lock in a teleport location to easily and quickly get back to where you want to be?

And about your in game staff….they absolutely rock. I played the realm when Sierra had the game. I had memorized every spell book, learned all skills to highest level and had completed level 1000. And a lot of the other on line massive games that followed, such as EQ, WOW, Diablo, POE and lots of others. The Realm retains a special charm. It comes from both the online community and now the in game staff. They show the community that they care about the players and take pride in the game. The on going efforts of the developers also show the online community that new things are coming. That even though the realm has a timeless characteristic it is not withering but sprouting new story line and exciting developments to encourage the players along.

In regards to the selling bit u mentioned John Daly you can sell all the contents of your backpack at once. Just unequip the bp,it will show up in the sell list, click it,n voila everything inside sold, backpack still remains. Just dont ever do it when its empty otherwise it will sell the BP.(perhaps what u had in mind was more complex, but maybe this helps) The invis invuln and shift combo would be way too strong imo. I like the ID all idea.
