It would be nice to have the option to buy some unbind tokens from the MTX so we can unbind items and either for selling or so our other accounts and reuse them. This would definitely make the game more money and it would be something I would pay for. Make them trade-able as well would be nice.
I hope they don't do this.
No offense. I am glad you are providing feedback. I just think that we're either IN on the bind system or OUT on the bind system, and not kind of both based on mtx.
The big issue here is that it's basically repeatable. If there were a limiter perhaps it would help mitigate. I don't know how you would do that via the mtx shop but maybe something like a veteran reward system that rewarded one of these for each 12 months of sub time.
I haven't really fleshed that idea out at all, I just use it as an illustration of a way to maybe have them and not have it be a complete negating of the bind system.
You will be able to use previously bound items towards creating new higher tier gear. Hang tight for more details.
Hatesauce – Your two most recent posts you want these two things:
1) Dyes in the loot table for something to farm for
2) Unbind via the MTX so you can reuse/trade
How bow you just farm for the item you want to unbind and buy the dye via MTX? Same same but different.

Sounds cool. Looking forward to it!
Or better yet.. how about just remove the whole BoE concept… AND insurance AND return monsters to eating gear… the removal of which created the problem of too many items in the economy to begin with?
BoE is just a bandaid on a bandaid on top of a self inflicted injury….

You can't possibly be more wrong. "Monsters eating gear" wasn't something that actually happened as there were very easy workarounds to all but ensure you never lost anything important if you died. So those items never actually left economy, and the economy eventually collapsed.
Binding is not "self inflicted" it's a necessary metric to make sure the economy keeps moving.
Actually I like insurance. And there is a way to turn it off for your playstyle (/insoff I think?). Insurance encourages people like me to take risk on fights they may not attempt. And with the drops already being pretty low, without INS I think I would just go after safe, stale fights. I was playing Realm when Kurz and Leinster were the only towns - I don't have any fond memories of losing 3 levels and some gear every single loss.
