Pandemonium
I have a few ideas that I personally think would add to the enjoyment of the game.
- A tower dungeon. The idea comes from a D&D campaign I played. The tower would begin with fairly easy enemies but as the player travel up the levels it gets more difficult. In the campaign the levels could be infinite until the player exhausted the wizard responsible for the illusion of infinity and the creation of the monsters. Alternatively, there were clues to solving the mystery of the tower and the wizard that could be discovered along the way. By interpretation of these clues and choices in dialog with NPCs along the way the wizard could be persuaded to undo his destructive magic and release the player and his friends.
- A true black dye. Everyone wants one. I've noticed that some helms have details and accents that appear darker than the dark grey of the black dye. If these details were added to armor/clothes then the normal black dye would appear darker and provide a more satisfying aesthetic for those players looking for a darker dye.
- Displayable weapons/items. It's been explained to me that items can't really be changed to be put on display, such as a weapons rack. I believe a work around could be possible though. Instead of changing the item and potentially breaking some aspect of the game; a new item could be created based on the appearance of the item being put on display. As an example, you want to display your hard earned Wrath. Instead of dropping it on the floor you could purchase a weapons rack in the copper store or obtain one via an event. This item would generate display items that would appear on the screen based on what was placed within it. Once the item was removed the display item would disappear. Similarly, display "racks" could be created for tables, doors, etc. Put it in the basement and I'd be likely to buy one.
- Take all for chests and bone piles. Pretty straight forward…
- World boss tracking. We have tracking tools but no way to use them. It would be great if we could use tracking to find bosses or items.
- Wizard weapons. There are weapons tailored to magic users but they are melee based. Wands are present in game but they are one use items and seem under powered, as if they are designed for melee characters that don't have access to magic. When I decide to play a magic user I don't envision them wielding a sword or dagger in battle. I want them to use a wand or staff. I've heard the idea suggested many times in game but it seems ignored. I don't know why, unless there is some underlying game mechanic that causes it to not work. Ideally if I could have one the wand/staff would be permanently equipped and cause the power of one spell to be boosted. As a balance a resistance to cast of an opposite magic school could be added.
