Wizards are great, I have several. But there's only so much flexibility in character creation before you've just created a gimped version. There's alot more viable "hitter" builds than there are casters. So in my opinion, after you've played a few wizards, they get kind of boring.
But due to the reliance on AoE crowd control for most content, I hate feeling like I NEED one in my group.
I think adding ONE item could really mix up character creation and group composition:
The Orb of Mass Hold
I've made a few other posts about items/consumables and the space in and around Theurgism. And I still think exploring this space more would lead to more interesting game play.
