Hello All, with the release of the new Finvarra's Fortress client skin, we wanted to allow players to revert to the default skin if they would like.
You can download the old skin here:
https://realmserver.com/files/default_skin.zip
And then copy the directory into your realm install directory to overwrite the new skin.
Is that link actually the old skin? I delete the entire default folder and install this in to it and end up with the new UI still.
This appears to be the new skin and not the old skin as others have reported.
Could we have the skin files stored in the skin folder like they used to be? For those of us that make and use custom skins it's a real pain every time the client updates.
If you use the Launcher to start the game it restores/overwrites/reverts any changes. Obviously the only way around this is to use the Client executable but if there's an update you can't log-in or the client crashes, the only indication.

Let us hope they continue to support the use of player made skins! I was having difficulty at first with these same issues, Wildfire, but thankfully your post helped. I wish I had some of my old skins but I intend to remake at least a few of them. The 'look at' screen is a must. My favorite skin was jut one that had all 6 buttons on the look at screen instead of the 5 that switch around as you click them. I am not sure why that drives me crazy but it does. I will work on some but hopefully the support for player made skins will remain with the current client.
