Disregard (did not mean to post)

I hear a lot of people still crashing, I'm running windows 10 WITHOUT any compatibility settings except I did use the last item fix, and only ever have the out of handles crash. Which usually comes because Ive been playing for multiple hours. Crashed just now after almost 5 hours. I just wanted to share before some of the less tech savvy try setting up VMs and what nots. Sorry for the verbose title, just trying to get the info out there.

With all due respect, what "info" are you getting out there. You're entire post is essentially "You have problems but I don't, so that's cool." It's awesome you're running Windows 10 and haven't had issues, I don't know why that is, clearly you don't either. Lucky you.

Others, in fact, most people, running Windows 10, have encountered issues. I run Windows 10 as well (64-bit, which I'm convinced is a major factor here), and have substantial crashing issues, unless I run in Windows 7 compatibility mode. This has worked very well for me. Others can try it, might not work for them.

Honestly, if you can't add to the suggestions, because you're lucky enough to not have the problem, what are you bothering posting for?

To be honest, I did not mean to post this. Delete it, close it whatever. My bad

This seems pretty harsh.

I took Tertiary's post as saying "Hey if you're having trouble with compatibility mode, try it without" which I think is a legit suggestion that almost nobody is recommending.

Even the "official" getting started at https://realmserver.com/game_information/getting_started doesn't suggest trying to run it normally. It says to enable compat right from the beginning.

The fact that the client works for some without issue and not for others is not random. There is some kind of common thread between those who have issues.

I don't see how it's a bad thing, at all, to gather data from those who are not having issues so that we can all begin to try and figure out what the "silver bullet" is that will fix it for everyone.

Ok, that's a fair point. My experience is SP3 compatibility mode doesn't work, I didn't realize that was even on the "getting started" page. Perhaps it was just worded poorly in the first post, and I took it wrong.

I suppose if you're phrasing it in the "If you used compatibility mode from the start, are having issues, and never tried it without, you may not actually have any problems. Give it a shot without any compatibility, before resorting to complicated VM setups."
