Due to the new Fin and NB dyes to shop it has caused a lot of displeasure with the players that have heavily invested over the years in these items that gave them high value. A gold wipe might be the only solution to keep those players on TRO.
I disagree with this post. No matter how it was approached, whether by removing gold or adding dyes, someone was going to complain. What they did was, I feel, in the best interest of the legacy server over all. It is not the new players fault that gold was duped, items where duped, etc etc back in the day, and that 90% of the NB/Fin items are probably duped anyways, so why punish new players by taking their gold away because of events that happened years ago??? OH! Because you still want to have your flashy little items, that you probably wouldn't have in the first place had the illegal activities NOT taken place, and piss on everyone else. This is a classic example of selfish. I played TRO from 96 to 03 and off and on through the years. I have always thought that it was ridiculous that the only people who could afford to have NB/Fin stuff where either A. those related to the ones who did the illegal activities, or 2. Those who where willing to pay enough rl cash. Bottom line is the economy is at a stand still on legacy, just since the items where introduced I have seen a huge influx of people ACTUALLY TRADING AND SELLING. Which, again, was at a stand still. Wiping gold isn't the answer at this point, the answer would have been to remove all duped and illegally obtained items from the game when it happened, but noone had the means to do that beyond the small point they did. So, are you complaining because you worked soooooooo hard to get the items you have, or are you now mad because you invested $$ into the items that are now worth jack? It's okay, your items are still worth at least 125m though. :)
I'm okay with whatever decision they make and support it. I was just trying to bring attention to the topic that others expressed displeasure about. And seeing how they didn't wanna post on here I tried to get the ball rolling so maybe as a community we can discuss further decisions to Legacy if any.
I'm trying to decipher your reply… What is the 20m gold comment a reference to? That's crazy about you thinking the trading comment isn't factual, maybe if you pulled your head out your ass and stopped whining long enough to look at the channel, you'd see that people are actually buying and selling items, everything I have said is factual, feel free to prove otherwise, i'm waiting.

A gold wipe is always in play. Feel out how the economy is currently for a bit - if there is a need we will jump in and intervene to stimulate it somehow.
