He offered to sell me a blood syphon and I handed first for 35mil, he then said I only handed 3.5mil because I missed a comma, I trustingly believed him and he ended up scamming me for 67mil total. It really sucks that people are doing this in a game with a small a nice community. I checked discord logs and he has scammed a lot of other people. What can be done about this?
Perhaps asking for refs or even looking at discord logs first before becoming a victom to this asshat twice
and remember scamming "part of the game" and will not be addressed with a secure trading system like every other game ever made
We do agree that a secure trading system should exist in the game but the implementation of one has not yet been started.
I feel that not having a secure trading system has hurt this game or drove away more players than any other single factor by large

It is unfortunate that it is still a problem. There has been pretty flushed out suggestions such as https://realmserver.com/forum/feedback/trade-system-player-stalls which is going on about 3 years old now. Even considered gold sink and promoting player to player trade and middlemen still being an option to avoid the trade tax. Not only would it provide a safe way to trade, it would also make the game feel more alive and give players the option to sell a wide variety of items they normally would not even bother to advertise or try to sell…
I will say as a rule of thumb its always good to ask in chat if someone is trust worthy prior to trading if you don't know in this case, I imagine it would have saved you the trouble.
Hopefully some day we will have something like that implemented. Sorry to hear you got scammed, it's a shame people are still doing this to eachother.
