Magic changes and chants/perms on master gear and 900 weapons/sorc attunement

Within the last few days, I noticed that my warriors cannot self dispel, nor unlock chests/doors. Its not listed in changes in the forum, but it's definitely new. My ASGW literally NEVER had this problem before. Also, I wonder if there is some inadvertent relationship between sorc. attune, and increased poof rate of master gear and 900 weapons. It's quite noticeable, to the point where people are soft chanting their 900 weapons unless they have a backup weapon. I currently am leveling a 2nd wiz, and purposely did not use sorc attunement to see if it makes a difference. I know its supposed to increase the chance of a successful 6th chance, which to me makes no sense - it's not really a necessary thing.

Level is the largest factor in dispel, so if you prestiged that's why it went from not an issue (level 1000) to an issue (level 1)

A lot of folks avoid enchanting the 900 weapons because they have a hard time getting them in the first place, and with as expensive as they are it just isn't worth the risk to those folks.
