New Player Wizard Guide Out of Date?

So I just joined up to the Realm after having not played the game since 1998. Not remembering a whole lot, I decided to look up some guides- the Wizzie Leveling guide doesn't seem to be the best. http://realmserver.wikia.com/wiki/Wizzie_Leveling_for_Newbies_by_Jahx . The guide seems to have been edited to state why the things it is saying is a bit rubbish. I'm guessing that it was written for an earlier version and isn't so relevant anymore.

I did get some advice from the in game chat that recommended going with sorcery and meditation which I've now switched to after investing some of my build points a bit incorrectly. I assume that it won't be that big a difference in the grand scheme of things. Still, it would be nice if someone could update the wiki even with a very basic primer that is up to date. I know as a new player I am a little lost when it comes to progression.

There used to be a giant warning (in red or yellow or something) on the wiki about those guides being out of date for fin fortress, but someone edited it and removed them. Such is the risk with a resource that the public can edit.

I added a revised leveling guide to the wiki a couple days ago that uses the more current multiblade leveling method. I may be updating it though to encourage people to use the Hot Zone guide's FHP loop though, as running just those fights seems to be a more efficient use of time and works very well with the multiblade setup.
