While it is here, I guess I will ask. When chanting weapons, any reason to stick with Permanency vs Enchanting? Aside from cost that is
Permanency is used for effects that effect the item only.
Enchant must be used for items which effect the character, not the item.
At one point or another, you used to be able to enchant weapon effects, and the enchants had a lower rate of blowing up the item. So basically nobody ever permed anything. This has been fixed in the new server, and enchants, out right will not work on weapon/item effects, and both enchant/perm has the same % chances of success.
So, bottom line:
Perm: Fire, Cold, Electric, Poison damage and Improve Armor.
Enchant: Fire, Cold, Electric, Poison, Missile Shield, Regeneration, Immolation, Strength, Dexterity.
