Prestige Wizzy Chanting requirements

So it seems to be a debate and i havent tested yet due to BPs, but after you prestige, learn med 6 and sorc attunement. Do you have to spend the last 10 BPs on sorc 6 to have the best chance at 6xing items?

Excuse me for my ignorance as I just rejoined TRO for the 3rd time again last Friday…but what does it mean to prestige? I also built an AIEW who's currently level 101…Got any leveling tips? haha
