Viable single account "unibox" builds? Coming back to TRO after 20 years

Hi all. Eager to get back into this game, and have read a few build/getting started guides, but thought I would poll the community / ask for advice since 1) a lot of the build guides seem to be intended for multi-boxing, and 2) mechanics seem to have changed a bunch since many of the guides were written. I haven't ever tried it, but multi-boxing seems like it would spoil some of the nostalgic magic for me.

Assuming that I won't be able to reliably find a group while leveling, is a cookie-cutter build like AIEW (all int elf wiz) or ADET (all dex elf thief) still a safe bet – or will I be better served by something more rounded like an ADEW (all dex elf wiz) or even an Adventurer or some sort? Most focused on being able to progress through PVE content, but while also being a worthwhile group member to the extent I make any friends. Being able to enchant my own gear sounds great, but if it's easy enough to find someone when needed maybe this is less important than I'm imagining.

AIEW is still as strong as ever. The game definitely feels more balanced than it did 20 years ago. Just my opinion and it could be largely due to gear progression. I think at its core it is still the same game you left two decades ago. You could grind up to 1k on just about anything. The starter dungeon 1 Right of EL TP is very nice and if you can afford the Noble Citizen account the Hot Zones are very helpful while giving you motivation to move about the game.

Thanks for the tip on the starter dungeon, and good to know I'll be ok without multi-boxing. Was planning to Noble Citizen regardless to support the devs, but will look into hot zones a bit more.
