Your level 300 jewelry change is a bug fix?!? It's a big fix.

The +20 resist to Elem/Thaum/Necro on the Thief/Warrior jewelry fit in well with the +15 from PW, making 75 in total against those schools. I spent millions to get the rings because of those resists. NOW YOU SAY "WHOOPSIE"?!?!?!?!?!

Put.

Respectfully, the level 300 jewelry was far too powerful… 80% of maximum resist from wearing these 3 pieces of gear? Resist will become more abundant when they update the armor sets as has been proposed on the forums. The power level of this jewelry though didn't leave any room for growth.

Good job staff!

The rings and amulets were ported from Mist Walkers which calculated resistances on a scale of 400. For example, 400/400 = 100%. 20/400 = 5%.

When they were brought over we missed updating these pieces which is how they ended up in their overpowered state. We balanced our armor sets under the assumption they they provide 5% resistance.

Alright. And the rings are still better than a sharp stick in the eye. Is there a way for me to delete this thread?

It's tough on people because it feels like a nerf, even though it's an unintentional one. Also, since not all of those armor sets are released yet, we're not seeing the bigger picture. Trying very hard to exercise patience, but I will say this latest hotfix doesn't feel great, the resistance changes to Heroic mobs, along with the resist changes to jewelry effectively nerfed my squad in Heroics. My wizzies went from 2k+, wit h3-4k crits, to barely cracking 1k, now that mobs resists are so spread out.

It is what it is, I get that you have to look at the long term balance wise, and we're not getting the whole picture yet.
