The Realm® Online

Welcome to The Realm® Online! If you are new around here you're probably wondering how everything works.

1. Before you start

There are currently two different account types that grant different types of access. You can review the account types here.

2. Create a web account

Create a web account on this site by clicking on the "Create Account" link at the top navigation. You will be able to create an account using your existing facebook or google account, or create a standalone account on this site.

Note: If you create a standalone web account, you will need to confirm your email before you can log in. Check your junk mail.

3. Create a Game Account

Log into your web account and then navigate to the game accounts page. From there you have the option of creating a new game account or linking an existing account if you already have one.

All accounts created are Citizen accounts by default. In order to access certain features you will need to upgrade to a Noble Citizen account. You can read about the differences here.

4. Setting up the client

Use the following steps to set up the client:

Download the game launcher from here: Launcher Download
Run the installer in order to install the game

If you experience issues installing or running the game, ensure you have the latest C++ runtime installed, see here:

5. Logging in

Use the following steps to log into the game:

Open The Realm Online launcher from your start menu (default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Rat Labs\The Realm Online\launcher.exe)
Log in using the game account username and password you created in Step 3.
Create your character and enjoy!
