The following information is intended for anyone who uses The Realm® Online (TRO) and it's associated services (Game, Website, Facebook Page, Discord Server, etc.) While playing or engaging in any communication within The Realm® Online, you must respect the rights of others and their right to play and enjoy the game. The following Guidelines are for everyone to follow, and will be enforced by TRO Staff. If there has been a suspected violation to these Guidelines, it will be investigated. TRO Staff shall exercise discretion as to what action could be taken as a result, with or without prior notice and is not limited but may include suspension or termination. The Realm® is a registered trademark and Rat Labs LLC reserves the right to change its policies at any time without notice.
Inappropriate behavior will NOT be tolerated on any TRO official service -Including but not limited to, character names, guild/clan names, nicknames, links to external sources containing language or images of, or any dialogue that is:
These Guidelines include all Public and Private Chat (System Channels 0-5, Global Rooms, Tells, Private Channels, and Homes)

The Realm® Online does not condone harassment in any form, and the use of it's services to commit such acts is prohibited.
Harassment is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent (this includes but is not limited to links, media, or text based content);
-Harassment includes threatening or embarrassing another player to cause distress, unwanted attention and/or discomfort;
-Personal attacks, including remarks based on a person's ethnicity, religion, gender, lifestyle choice, national origin, race, physical or mental disability.
In emergency/dangerous situations, it is possible that any imminent threats which could lead to serious bodily harm or property damage will be reported to the authorities.
There are tools in place to help alleviate such unwanted actions which include “Ignoring a Player”. To ignore a player for the current online session, in the text box type “/ignore
Information that may be considered personal or confidential in nature may not be collected, used, or disclosed in any form (without explicit consent from all individuals involved); this includes but is not limited to: Private messages and screenshots.
Impersonating any member, person or character of The Realm® or Rat Labs LLC Staff (past or present) is strictly prohibited.
Note: In-Game Staff will never ask for your real-life information or passwords.
The use of any third-party software or hardware to perform in-game actions is prohibited. These actions include but are not limited to: combat, item collection, automated movement, or anything that directly alters the game. This also includes duplicating items/currency intentionally, abusing or exploiting any known or unknown bugs, design flaws, or any other undocumented features.
Players acknowledge and agree to report any bugs or errors found within the game to TRO Staff immediately as this can damage or destabilize the economy and ruins the enjoyment of the game for everyone. TRO Development Staff will strive to correct these issues in a timely manner.
You may not advertise the intent to, commit the act of, or facilitate the ability of others to commit the act of, unauthorized selling or buying of game items, accounts or currency for real-world monetary values. Any accounts/players found to be violating these Guidelines will be subject to account termination.
Solicitation of outside products or services while using TRO is prohibited; this includes, but is not limited to companies, organizations, charity and donations. Charity related propositions can be emailed to cs@rat-labs.com.
If any of your actions cause you to lose items (including gold or mana), you will not be reimbursed or compensated in any form (this includes but is not limited to; player to player trades/scams, dropping, dying, destruction, or selling of items).
Access to Website and Game accounts are permitted to the account owner exclusively. Account ownership is not transferrable. Any accounts/players found to be violating these Guidelines will be subject to account termination.
Storyline and Game Events are voluntary participation; purposely engaging in any act that negatively impacts the aforementioned will result in a warning, followed by being placed in jail for the duration of the Event. “Roleplaying” is not an excuse for violating any these Guidelines.
